We will probably be headed for Kluang this weekend. Found ourselves a 'tourguide' for the weekend and we will be going up the 510m Gunung Lambak for a short trek.

I have long heard about the fantastic bread toast, half-boiled eggs and coffee being served at an old coffee shop at the train station. That I will not miss as well! Heehee!



On the 8th of September, we will head for Desaru. KH will go for his race while the rest of us will go laze around the beach. I think I will give the Ostrich farm a miss.

The sunny beach and sea should be enough for the weekend. Oh, and maybe catch some fireflies at night (at Kota Tinggi?) Mum and Dad will be out gambling at Genting Highlands (again) with the church-going folks.

Ha, so much for the "no gambling since we are Catholics..." rule some of these guys always tell my parents.. bah! Nothing but a load of hypocritical cow crap! The moment they reach Genting Highlands, they will step into the casinos and start gambling! !@#!@#!$%!$

Kluang~ Been there, done that.. the toast IS good! It has a surreal, back to old days feel as well.. Can take nice view of the tracks, esp if early morn when the mist is lifting and sun rising.. =n.n=

After a nice breakfast (which I later regretted), we managed to start our trek only at around 0930hrs in the morning.

The sambal chilli, nasi, butter and bread in my stomach started giving problems halfway up! I actually had to throw out some chilli oil along the way to feel better. *burp*

>.< aarggghhhh!

NEVER, EVER, start your climb on too full a stomach, especially with spicy stuff in it!
